Sell-Side

Sell-side is the seller's side of an M&A transaction — the party disposing of assets, shares, or a business. Sell-side advisors prepare the information memorandum, build the VDR, manage the bid process, and lead negotiation. In European mid-market practice, sell-side mandates are typically held by mid-market investment banks and corporate-finance houses.
