SCC (Standard Contractual Clauses)

Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) are model clauses approved by the European Commission as a transfer mechanism under Chapter V GDPR. They allow controllers and processors to transfer personal data to non-adequate third countries while binding the recipient to GDPR-aligned protections. The current SCCs (issued June 2021) replaced the legacy 2010 set.
