Document Redaction
Document redaction is the act of removing personal data, commercially sensitive information, or confidential identifiers from documents before they are disclosed to bidders. In European M&A, redaction is most often driven by GDPR (employee, customer, supplier personal data) and clean-team commercial sensitivity.
AI-assisted redaction (Drooms, FORDATA, Imprima, Datasite) detects and proposes redactions across document types; a human reviewer approves each proposal. For 50,000+ document VDRs, AI redaction shortens setup by weeks.
