AES-256

AES-256 is 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard, the symmetric encryption algorithm and key length used as the baseline for at-rest encryption in modern virtual data rooms. AES-256 is approved by NIST and ENISA and is the minimum standard expected by European VDR procurement teams.
